About Us

Badenoch is based in Edinburgh and was founded in 2013 by Malcolm Offord, to invest in businesses manufacturing in Scotland and selling abroad (“MISSA”).  In October 2021, Malcom Offord was appointed to the UK government as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Scotland and, subsequently in April 2023, as UK Minister for Exports in the Department of Business and Trade. 

Today, Badenoch is led by Harvinder Hungin. He is supported by a network of industry and country advisors with the aim of deploying Badenoch and co-investors’ capital and experience. The objective is to generate higher growth returns in international markets especially the US, Middle East and India by leveraging British technology, know-how and competitive advantage across sectors.
